Thank you. While viewing a recent exhibit of Diane Arbus's early work at NYC's Beurer Museum, i was more than ever convinced that she is overrated. The photo which attracted me was Ret Bearbeiter standing on a deserted city street by August Sander whom the curators described as an Arbus mentor. I believe his "mentorship" was a complished via a collection of Sander's works. which Marvin Isreal gave to Arbus.
